And the legend continues on with my ex-coworker “A”, an engineer~ I remember one time he came by my cubicle with a ruler in his hand, and while slapping his other hand with the ruler, he asked me the below questions:
A: “Hey, are you good with rulers?”
Me: “uh… well, I…guess” (what kind of question is this???)
A: “OK, I am trying to work on this mechanical engineering document change for my product, and I need to know how long is an inch.”
Me: “uh… well, it says it on the ruler itself. Look, right here” (pointing to the inch side of the ruler)
A: “Oh, that’s easy, what’s that other one?”
Me: “That will be centimeter”
A: “Oh, OK, what’s the difference??”
Me: “…….”
Living in the US, I would suppose everyone knows what the difference between the two is (or at least what an inch is). I guess there is always exceptions, and sometimes these exceptions surprise you with exceptional questions. Still, I think sometimes some people choose to rely on others than trying to figure things out themselves… Well, it’s another chance to train ourselves to be patient, isn’t it? ^_^’

Nope, he’s not, but you’d be surprised where he came from. Either way, he’s an engineer… I don’t expect other professionals to know this, but an engineer? tsk tsk tsk…
The engineer “A” must not be a Chinese.
What the!!!!
your coworker brings shame to us engineers! stone him to death with rulers!
So he’s an engineer and he asked you if you’re good with rulers? what does your company do again?
“Hey, are you good with rulers?”
muahahahaha,……the classic~!!!!
